TGI... Friday, October 13th

Here's what we did today - 

8B LA  - today we had our free reading block and finished up our review on capitalization; we also watched a short film and competed a story map. 

8E LA  - we completed a review on synonyms, antonyms and homonyms and continued watching World Trade Center 

9A Social - no class today! We participated in Student Vote
Invictus Games CE due October 23rd

9E Social - today we spoke about Current Events and participated in Student Vote
Invictus Games CE due October 23rd

Important Dates coming up - 
Friday, October 20th - No School PD Day
Wednesday, November 1st - No School PD Day

I hope everyone had a great weekend and you are ready for a busy week!  8B and 8C Social - Your Chapter 5 Test is tomorrow!!  Remember to review the vocabulary as well.  *Your new Current Event is due June 4th!  8D and 8G LA - Your poetry projects need to be handed in tomorrow! Be ready to present tomorrow as well!  West Edmonton Mall Fieldtrip is Friday! There are 22 days of school left! Woo hoo! Ponder This:  The more you have of it, the less you see. What is it?
